I’ve been thinking about how many Truthers view what they do, identifying fake news, as pointing out “distractions” for those who aren’t paying close enough attention. This is well-intentioned but misguided. Describing mainstream news events as fake doesn’t take a lot of insight these days. You might even say it’s just stating the obvious.
The average Truther has been distracted from taking these puzzle pieces, each fake event, and assembling the big picture.
